Heated hoses

The heated hoses transport the liquid adhesive at the right temperature and pressure to the application head. They are equipped with high-performance heating sensors and long-life temperature sensors along their entire length. In combination with the melters and guns, the hoses enable the adhesive temperature to be regulated stepwise from the tank to the gun. The adhesive never overheats, which prevents the adhesive from charring. As an integral part of the series, you as the user do not have to deal with the electrical design. The hoses use special electronics to communicate with the central melter.

Setting parameters is completely unnecessary, as the units know each other. The seamless integration of the hose into the system ensures that the adhesive is transported at the ideal pressure and temperature, thus protecting the material. If a fault occurs, it is immediately detected and displayed in plain text. The hoses are highly flexible and available in various outside diameters, which allows for perfect laying.

Temperature sensors in Nordson hoses measure the temperature over a length of approximately 150 mm, rather than at a single point. This enables greater measurement and control precision than when using a conventional point sensor. The highest level of protection is provided by thermal insulation. Thermal insulation without chlorine compounds = the safest insulation for heated hoses.
